Open Edition Prints
“Nature provides the inspiration for my work and conservation of our environment is a recurring theme. Highlighting the surrounding natural beauty gives us a greater appreciation of our responsibilities as guardians of the land. This collection features coastal and pastoral landscapes that have been transformed from photographs, into drawings and oil paintings.”
Works come unframed but 8x10”” frames are readily found at most photographic
stores. Gift packaging is also available and can be easily branded for corporate
orders.

Raglan Coastal Collection
Having lived in different parts of the world and being of a mixed heritage has made my need for identity essential. I think this is why I have focused on such iconic images as the Harakeke (or flax bush) and Manuka and Cabbage Tree. These photographs were taken of the Raglan coastline and feature strong silhouettes that feature in many of my pieces.

Harakeke and Kete Collection
This series features the flax bush (harakeke in Maori). It is a metaphor for family as the outer leaves represent the grandparents who are there to protect the grandchildren or inner leaves. When weaving a basket or kete it is important, therefore, to just use the outer leaves.

Oil Painting Collection
Landscape is the constant muse for my work and painting in oil is one of my first passions. Nothing can replace that sensuous glossy gleam of a painting made with oil and turps.

Line Drawing Collection
Drawing is the means by which we can understand and come to terms with our surroundings. Footprints in the snow, lines traced by a finger in the sand - we literally draw in and on the material world. Drawing is part of what it means to be human.
