Piwakawaka Tea Towel
New Zealand is known as a land of birds and it has earned the reputation for being a world leader in conservation efforts. Living near a bird sanctuary in Wellington has greatly increased the bird population in my neighbourhood. My particular favourites are the many Piwakawaka (fantails) and tuis. Piwakawaka are often seen dancing in the trees and with their cheeky nature they happily follow you as you wander through the bush.
Made from a cotton-linen blend – size 50 x 70cm.
Tea towels come packaged with a kraft band that features the design story as well as care instructions.
Designed in New Zealand by Jo Luping.
