White Huia On Black 8cm Tile
This New Zealand ceramic tile decoration features a Huia bird, now extinct from the over-hunting of its prized tail feathers and loss of habitat due to deforestation. It teaches us to protect and preserve what we have. Remember, “Take nothing but photographs or small ceramic tiles, leave nothing but footprints."
Technical information:
Made from white porcelain, front clear glaze with decal and unglazed back.
Decal on one side only - size 8cm diameter x 0.3cm thick with 0.5cm hole.
Each decoration comes with natural coloured twine for hanging and is presented on a brown backing card with a story about the design and a space to write a personal greeting on the reverse. Cello bagged.
